We were greeted by the owner, Yvonne, as we walked thru the door. She made us feel at home right away. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. A nice menu. My husband and I both had the schnitzel and it was good, but for me the star of the plate was the cooked red cabbage. In all, it was a great evening out with good friends, both old and new. Thank you, Yvonne for a most memorable evening.

One of the owners get you as you enter and from that moment you get personalized service. Your waitress is pleased to answer any questions you might have regarding a dish. Food is mainly German (cook is also German so you know you are getting the real thing). But they also have a great curry, my sister raved about he r meal so I had to try and maybe I’ll order it next time but my goulash was so good I really want to go back and have it again. Skip dessert and go for one of this special coffees instead. I loved the Mexican one. Highly recommend.

After spending 5 years in Germany I’m always very skeptic to find a good authentic German restaurant but after visiting Black Forest Restaurant in La Cruz I was truly amazed by the Jaeger Schitzel. We actually started out with the Flamenkuchen with set the pace for the rest of our meal. Complements to the chef and staff. Very nice atmosphere too … I will be back for sure!!!
